We created Kuello to make caring for natural hair simple. Our products are designed to help you build a routine that keeps your hair moisturised, nourished and strong, because healthy hair isn’t about chasing miracle products, it’s about giving your hair the consistent care it needs to thrive.
Why Kuello Exists
For too long, Black women have been told that our natural hair is difficult to manage, doesn’t grow, or needs to be chemically processed to be beautiful. Kuello exists to challenge that. We believe our hair can thrive when we understand what it needs and care for it consistently. That’s why we create simple, accessible hair care that helps women build healthy routines for stronger, moisturised and thriving natural hair.
Our Story
Kuello started with a personal hair journey, not a business plan. Our founder was documenting her natural hair journey on TikTok while wearing cornrows, sharing how she cared for her hair and what she was doing to grow and retain her length.
Then one video changed everything.
She shared a video showing exactly how she mixed different oils and herbs to make the hair oil she was using on her own hair. The ingredients and process were all there for anyone to recreate, but the response was clear: people loved the idea, they just didn’t want to do all that work themselves. They began asking her to make the oil and sell it to them.
That demand became the beginning of Kuello.
With a Diploma in Makeup Artistry and Aesthetics and a professional background in the beauty industry, our founder already had a foundation in beauty and personal care. What started as something she was making for herself evolved into a product for women who wanted the benefits of an intentional natural hair routine without having to source and mix multiple ingredients themselves.
